I’ve been thinking about that a lot! Sure it’s semantics, still, our world is created through our words. (read more in Chapter 4 of my book, Children Who Know How to Know)
Over the years, while working for California Psychics, I witnessed countless people struggle to “dream big” and keep their dreams alive. What if those dreams weren’t in alignment with what they were meant to do, but were chosen because someone else ( society, parents, educators, media) chose those dreams for them?
When the dream isn’t really ours, but the ones we’ve adopted for various reasons, we all struggle to keep them alive and bring them into manifestation.
When we think it’s our dream, but it’s not in alignment with our true calling or purpose, it’s easy to become cynical and lose faith. We abandon those dreams believing the Universe/ God didn’t want us to have a greater life than the one we’re living. Not true! We’re just not in alignment with our true calling.
When we’re in alignment, we’re like large magnets attracting our desires towards us. Things appear like puzzle pieces, the right people, places, and circumstances. It’s like magic and miracles!
I’m certain you recall amazing dreams that have come true for you. It can be that way for all of us, most of the time. Too often, we abandon our dreams when the Universe’s timing disappoints us.
Think of all the dreams you’ve had come true for you! I’m sure the list is long. How did they happen? Timing has a lot to do with this and working with a mentor helps, too. The bottom line, it takes faith to maintain and nurture your dreams and no one can do that or have that for you and it also takes being aligned with what you’re passionate about. It’s hard to maintain a passion in an area that doesn’t excite or fascinate you. That’s your clearest indication, you’re not in alignment with your dream!
