This is the story of how Elly alchemized education and magic.

In 2007 I was teaching English to middle schoolers in New York City. My principal requested I come to her office, where a reading specialist informed me I was being reprimanded for having my students read out loud. “Ms. Molina, don’t you know it affects their self-esteem?”

My head spun and my stomach turned.

I had been teaching children for over 25 years how to read aloud and now I was in policy violation? My physical being caved and I knew I had to leave teaching under these rules. The current educational system violated my core values and I could longer be a part of it. I knew I couldn’t continue teaching in a broken, archaic system where children were labeled, medicated, and disempowered and teachers were penalized for wanting to teach.

I mentally prepared to sell my home and leave New York.

In 2008, I sold my suburban New York home in only three hours and moved across the country to Washington State a few months later with my youngest son, my mother, and our dog. In Washington, together with a group of parents, I co-founded an elementary school, which included teaching psychic development and conscious awareness.

I realized there was another way of living life.

One where you honor your psychic gifts. One where you are aligned with your intuition and core values. When destiny calls you and pulls at your soul, follow!
