Show me a kid who doesn’t believe in magic, and I’ll show you a kid who grew up too fast, was limited too early, and gave up too soon.
But when a child recognizes the power they have – to do, make, be, or see – it can change who they are forever.
What do we mean by “magic?”
It’s not a tricky thing you yank out of a hat.
Nor is it a singular trait like red hair, or a rare gift that means you see dead people (though many claim they do!). It’s an innate sense, an inner knowing—what some call psychic ability.
It’s actually quite ordinary – and part of how we’re wired.
The kind of magic I’m talking about is universal: Every child, every person, has access to it. And there isn’t anything “childlike” about it; it’s older than the oldest story, and part of our heritage as human beings.
It’s a lot like creativity: You either use it, or you don’t.
Brene Brown says there is no such thing as creative and non-creative people; I think the same way about intuition and psychic ability. You either give yourself the chance to discover it and use it, or you don’t—and when you do, magic happens!
It’s where human potential, vision, and agency meet.
When we learn to channel our own intuitive and psychic abilities, especially as children, we tap into a source and force that helps us tune in to our surroundings and other people, make better decisions, and use our energy in astonishing ways.
What we want for our children isn’t that different from what we want for ourselves:
To make our way, safely and confidently, through the world.

Good grades, common sense, and reason are useful — but we have an even greater ability beyond what we can taste, touch, or test.
There’s a reason to give your child the tools to access their natural psychic ability, and it’s not for party tricks or talent contests.
Children who are given the resources & encouragement to explore their own psychic abilities have an advantage over those who don’t.
They’re more likely to…

… Hear — and heed — their inner voice
… Be curious and engaged
… Focus their attention
… Take initiative
… Stand up for themselves
What happens if they never discover this hidden skill?
In a word? Mediocrity.
Here are a few more: Conformity. Insecurity. Disconnection. Resignation…
A quenchless thirst for others’ approval, a tendency to bend to others’ agendas. This can sour into cynicism, resentment, anxiety, and despair, well into adulthood.
Children who never discover their own power are more likely to talk themselves out of opportunity, fear the unknown, and prioritize others’ ideas above their own.
What’s worse? They might just give up on themselves before they come close to tapping their potential.

Your child is growing up in a wildly different world than we did.
